Job responsibilities:

• Whilst remaining hands-on, to own and manage the automated testing services provided for one or more projects in the delivery pipeline, taking ownership of the planning, preparation and execution phases of the automation components of that project
• To work with Senior QA Engineers and the QA Manager in the provision of automated testing services for projects in the pipeline
• Depending upon the size and scale of a project, must be able to work by themselves or to manage additional resource assigned to their project in a team leading capacity
• To develop, enhance and maintain well formed and scalable test frameworks for various functional and non functional stages of the software development lifecycle
• To develop, enhance and maintain high value test scripts for various functional and non functional testing
• To represent the Automated QA Group in kick off meetings or stand-ups as required
• To work with the team in the development of testing tools, utilities or applications to improve the efficiency of the QA group
• To liaise with other members of the global QA function as well as with numerous disciplines within the business to the professional standard expected by the QA function
• To work closely within the team towards the continual improvement of the automation capabilities provided by the group

Work requirements:

• Prior experience in a hands on, senior Automated Testing capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
• Excellent soft skills such as reporting, communication, etc.
• Excellent verbal skills, must be English speaking
• Experience in consistently delivering against agreed timelines
• Excellent problem solving skills and good attention to detail
• Excellent Java and / or VBScript programming experience
• Strong knowledge of functional testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, Rational Functional Tester is preferred
• Strong knowledge of non functional tools such as WebLoad, NeoLoad, LoadRunner is preferred
• Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test assets across complex, cross browser based applications
• Prior exposure to gaming software is preferred
